Fresh Rain scent - with a gold top!

So if you remember my Mother's Day soap - pink clay topped with a luminous gold mica - I have been trying to create a companion soap called Father's Day. My first one was an epic failure that ended up in the garbage. And then I made this one. Ugh. I had to get it to gel, so it made it darker than usual and then I put the mica on the top and all Vegas broke out! Doesn't it look like something that belongs in Cesar's Palace??? Well, it is what it is - the scent is nice... It's just a little Chav... (that last comment is specifically for my friend Nik).

I'll keep at it and at some point I'll find the right scent and the right color to make the perfect soap called Father's Day.

Tart Lip Balm - sneaky b*

I LOVE this fragrance!!! It is like it's name - tart. It is bright, it is mouth watering, and then it rounds out with this fantastic vanilla end note. Simply gorgeous - no matter what you call her.....

New Experiments... Blood Orange

I received the most GLORIOUS essential oils last week. They are all decanted into their new brown glass bottles and waiting to be used. I really can't wait to get my hands into the Blood Orange essential oil. It is such a rich orange scent that I just want to sniff it all day long... come on weekend!!

A weekend at home...

My new bike! 

We will be home this weekend and it looks like a beauty. Aside from riding my new bike! I think I'll make a few batches of soap. I've got a few in mind - oatmeal and honey, bay rum, and citrus mint I think. What are YOU doing this fine weekend?
